When an issue is transitioned to 'Draft' status, the issue will be assigned to the last assignee from the project role 'Developers'



Issue Transitioned Event


Create a new rule and name it appropriately

Providing a description will help you to identify what the rule does but this step is optional.



In Add trigger choose Issue Transitioned Event → Condition → Boolean condition.


Boolean Condition



Expression*

Use the following parser expression 

%{trigger.issue.status} = "Draft"

and click on Add


Next to the Boolean condition click on Add → Action → Assign Issue



Assign Issue

Choose User in Project Role as an Assignee*


Choose Developers as Project role


Click on add, and then activate the rule by clicking on the activate rule button  →
