This post function is used for making complex mathematical and temporal calculations, storing the result in a numeric or date-time field.

Configuration

Select the field to be written with the result of the formula.

The expression must return a number or date/time value.

You can try your expression by clicking on the run button on the top right of the expression box.

Choose one or both of the following options:

Option	Description
Write protection	Do not overwrite the target field if it is already set.
Update issue immediately	The field update results in a dedicated "Issue updated" event and issue history entry.
