The Add or remove watchers post function allows users to be added or removed from the current issue's watchers list. This post function uses fields, user groups, or project roles user selection tools.

If used in the Create Issue transition, make sure that the post function is triggered after the Creates the issue initially post function.

In this documentation and the post function configuration you will notice the symbol ( * ) next to some parameters, it means that this field is mandatory and shall not be left empty. Fields without the symbol are optional.

Basic configuration*

Below you will find a detailed description of each parameter of the basic configuration of the function.

Mode*

Define the content of the comment by selecting one of the following modes:

  • Add users from a field
  • Add users from a project role
  • Add users from a group
  • Remove users from a field
  • Remove users from a project role
  • Remove users from a group
  • Remove all watchers

Group*

Select the group containing the users.

Conditional execution

Enter a condition (Logical/boolean condition) using the JWT expression parser functions syntax.

You can even logically link and gather conditions in expressions as you like in order to map more complex conditions.

The post function will only be executed if the condition is met (returns true).
