With the Delete Column batch operation you can batch-delete columns from multiple boards at once.
This operation can be useful if you want to tidy up your workspaces, streamline the number of columns in your boards or delete a lot of data at once. With the Delete Column operation you can remove data from your monday.com workspaces swiftly, efficiently and safely without having to put in the effort of manually tidying up every board on its own.
As with the other batch operations you can access the Delete Column operation in the operations bar by selecting one or more boards from the overview table.
The operations bar will only get displayed if you have boards selected. If you have difficulty finding the operations bar make sure you have ticked off at least one board in the overview table.
Select the boards from the table you want to delete one or more columns from by ticking off the checkboxes.
Click on Delete Column in the operations bar.
A pop-up window will get opened. Choose which columns you want to delete from the selected boards in the dropdown menu. You can delete one or multiple columns.
Once you have made your selection click on Delete to remove the columns. Make sure you have selected the right columns before you carry out the operation as it can be difficult to retrieve deleted data.
