The WIP_ Create page from template action enables allows you to create swiftly set up a page using a predefined Atlassians prepared page using Atlassian-provided templates as well as your own private or company ones.

By not selecting any users or groups from the dropdown, the page(s) become public again.

Each restricted page is highlighted with a tooltip that displays, upon hovering, the users or groups to whom the page is restricted.

If multiple pages are selected, each with different access rights, the dropdowns (view/edit) will show the combined restrictions of all selected pages.

When applying restrictions, the current user is always included and added to the list due to confluences own behaviour.

Select users or groups in the view dropdown to which you want to restrict the view rights of the page(s)Name the new page.
