The WIP_Create page from template action enables you to create a page using a predefined Atlassians templates as well as your private or company ones.
By not selecting any users or groups from the dropdown, the page(s) become public again.
Each restricted page is highlighted with a tooltip that displays, upon hovering, the users or groups to whom the page is restricted.
If multiple pages are selected, each with different access rights, the dropdowns (view/edit) will show the combined restrictions of all selected pages.
When applying restrictions, the current user is always included and added to the list due to confluences own behaviour.
Select the WIP_Create page from template action.
Select users or groups in the view dropdown to which you want to restrict the view rights of the page(s).
Select users or groups in the edit dropdown to which you want to restrict the view rights of the page(s).
Click on Save.
