Log Settings
Configuration | Explanation |
---|---|
File | All files that are present on at least one node are listed. These files are located in the local home log files directory. |
Retention period | The Retention Period defines how long the log entry is stored before it is automatically deleted. The default retention period for all logs is 7 days. This setting ensures that only recent logs are retained, helping to maintain system performance. However, we store the data separately and do not delete the original logs based on time. Only the redundant data storage is cleaned up during this process. |
Status | The Status toggle allows administrators to enable or disable syncing to the database and displaying in the Log Browser:
|
Sync status | By clicking the icon to the left of the status toggle, you can view an overview of the sync status. In the case of a manual sync, you can also initiate the sync process directly from this menu. The Sync status indicates whether the most recent sync was successful:
|
Sync interval | The Sync Interval setting determines how frequently the log files are synchronized. The options available in this dropdown menu are: Daily, Hourly, Auto (default), Manual – Auto means syncing occurs minimum every minute. |
