This function returns the date part of a timestamp of any given date in text form

Syntax
dateToString(timestamp, timeZone, language) #Output: Text
Parser ExpressionDescription
dateToString({issue.created}, LOCAL, USER_LANG)

This example could return:

18/May/20


dateToString({issue.created}, LOCAL, SERVER_LANG)

This example could return:

18/Mai/20

Parameters used in this function

ParameterInput (data type)Description
timestamp

NUMBER

The parameter must be valid timestamp. Usually this value is retrieved from a field (e.g. due date, created date).
timeZone

TIMEZONE

The time zone used for the calculation. 

language

LANGUAGE

The language used for the conversion. 

Days might depend on the time zone - it might be Sunday on the west coast of the US while at the same time it's already Monday in Australia.
