The restrict page/s action enables you to restrict the viewing or editing rights of single or multiple pages.
By not selecting any users and groups in the dropdown the page/s are made public again.
Every restricted page is highlighted with a tooltip which on hover presents in a tooltip to whom the page is restricted.
If multiple pages are selected that come with different access rights the dropdowns (view / edit) are populated with the selection of the most restricted page.

Select the Restrict action.
Select users or groups in the view dropdown to which you want to restrict the view rights of the page(s).
Select users or groups in the edit dropdown to which you want to restrict the view rights of the page(s).
Advanced options
| Option | Description |

| Copy child pages | All child pages of the page you want to copy will be copied too. If you select this option and copy the pages to the same space, you need to add a prefix. |
| Copy labels | Select if you want to retain or drop existing labels. |
| Copy attachments | Select if you want to retain or drop existing attachments. |
| Copy page restrictions | Select if you want to retain or drop existing page restrictions. |
