Total remaining estimate in an epic

Use case

Sum up the remaining estimates (in days) of issues and subtasks in an epic.

Create a new Calculated Number Field (by JWT) custom field and name it properly.

Providing a description will help you to identify what the custom field does but this step is optional

Add the following expression:

Math expression for Calculated Number field:

sum(fieldValue({00024}, issuesUnderEpic() UNION linkedIssues("",issuesUnderEpic()))) /480

{00024} is the field code for Remaining Estimate (in minutes)

To achieve this, the following functions are used:

Choose Number for Content type

Enter the following custom format for Number format pattern:

###.##d

Once configured and added to an issue screen (e.g. an epic), the result will look like this:
