JWT for Jira Cloud is offered as free app on the Atlassian Marketplace and will be free for a while. Regardless, we will constantly strive to improve the app and add new features.
To be as transparent as possible about what's happening around the app we decided to share an overview of our product roadmap with you.

Writing support for custom fields COMING IN EARLY 2020
Currently, information stored in Jira custom fields can only be accessed (read) by post functions.
Writing values into custom fields will be the next step.

Jira expressions are currently only available for conditions and validators. To get the most out of the powerful functions we are planning to also offer Jira expressions in our expression parser..
Support of JWT expression parser functions
We will start to successively implement parser functions known from the Server/DC version to the product so the JWT expression parser provides all the functionality you need to read, manipulate and filter data from Jira issues, users, groups, projects and more.
Audit tools for administrators
We will be adding an audit tools section dedicated to administrators for being able to easily troubleshoot workflow configurations and inspect returned results and log entries.
Support for Jira Service Desk specific fields
We will be adding support for JSD specific custom fields and comment visibility.
Adding additional post functions
We will be adding additional post functions to the product to extend the functionality of JWT for Jira Cloud.
Simple conditions & validators
We will add conditions and validators that will allow you to implement even complex use cases with point-and-click ease.
