resolution()

This function returns the name of the resolution with a given ID.

Syntax

resolution(id) #Output: Text

Parser expression	Description
%{resolution(10000)}	This example returns a text with the corresponding name of the resolution with the ID 10000, e.g. Won't Fix

Parameters used in this function

Parameter	Input (data type)	Description
`id`	NUMBER	A valid ID of a resolution.

This function returns a TEXT

If there is no resolution with the given ID, the function returns NULL

Use this function to ensure expressions will continue to work after renaming resolutions:

Will continue to work after resolution name update	Will fail after resolution name update
%{issue.resolution} = resolution(10000)	%{issue.resolution} = "Won't Fix"
