The Format field value post function formats the current value of a field using a set of formatting operations.
Select the field to be formatted.
Select how blanks should be handled. The following options are available (multiple choice is possible):

Enter plain text or a valid regular expression and optionally use field codes to insert field values.
You can try your expressions by clicking on the run button on the top right of the expression box.
You have the option to update issues immediately (each field update results in a dedicated "Issue Updated" event and issue history entry).
The result of the logical expression must return a boolean value of either:
true
→ the post function will be executedfalse
→ the post function will not be executedUsing the conditional operator, even complex or multi-layered conditions can be constructed.
