Use case
Every Monday at 01:00 am, a comment mentioning the assignee is added to every unresolved issue that hasn't been updated for more than 30 days.
Scheduled Event
Create a new rule and name it appropriately.
Providing a description will help you to identify what the rule does but this step is optional.
Add a trigger → Scheduled and choose who you want to execute this rule in Run as*
JQL Selector
Add Selector → Issue Selector → Sub-tasks
No further configuration needed. The automation rule is triggered every time an issue is being transitioned.
Add comment
Next to Issue selector click on Add → Action → Update Field
Set Update to* to Value returned by parsed expression
Parser Expression*
%{trigger.issue.priority}
Activate the rule by clicking on the Activate rule button →
