Schedule issue for re-submission

Scheduled Event

Create a new rule and name it appropriately.

Providing a description will help you to identify what the rule does but this step is optional.

Add a trigger and choose Scheduled and choose who you want to execute this rule in Run as*

Choose Days per Week in Schedule*

Set the Interval* to Once per day at 1 00 am

JQL Selector

Add Selector → JQL Selector

JQL Query*

Use the following expression:

nnnnn = startOfDay()

nnnnn has to be the name of the custom date field.

Transition Issue

Next to JQL Selector click on Add → Action → Transition Issue

Choose Open in Mode*

The target status has to be reachable from the current status. Otherwise the transition will not be executed
