Example: Automatically reopen parent issue when one of its sub-tasks is reopened
Let's see how parent issue can be automatically reopened when one of its sub-tasks is reopened.
You have to insert in "Reopen Issue" transition of sub-task's workflow a Copy parsed text to a field post-function to copy into virtual field "Parent's issue status" the name of the "Reopened" status. Look at the screenshots:
